No. Slayed by Davia is an appointment-only studio. Every service requires dedicated preparation time. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated because no two services are the same and the studio operates on a one-client-at-a-time schedule. Use the Make a Reservation page to check current availability and lock in your slot.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of CAD 20 is required to confirm every appointment. The deposit is applied directly toward your total service cost on the day and it’s not an additional charge. Your slot is not secured until the deposit is received. Unconfirmed bookings are released back into the calendar and made available to other clients.
The deposit exists because every appointment is prepared for in advance. When a client books a three-hour braiding session, that time is removed from the schedule for everyone else. The deposit ensures that commitment is mutual.
You have to notice us at least 48h to cancel and 24h to reschedule your booking. You can see more about cancellation & rescheduling policy in our booking policies page.
If something comes up unexpectedly, contact us as early as possible
A 15-minute grace period applies to all appointments. Arrivals after 15 minutes are subject to a late fee added to the total service cost. The fee increases with the time elapsed after the grace period. Read our full late arrival policy here.
Not always. Different services require different time allocations and preparation. If you need to change your booked style, contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can adjust accordingly. Last-minute service changes on arrival are accommodated only if time allows, and this is at the studio’s discretion.
Yes. Arrive with freshly washed, thoroughly conditioned, and completely blown-dry hair. Product buildup, oils, and residue affect how extension hair grips, how parts lay, and how long the style holds. Dirty or damp hair on the day of your appointment is one of the most common reasons a session runs over time or produces a result that does not last.
Yes. Arrive with your hair fully detangled. The smoother your natural hair is when you sit in the chair, the cleaner and more efficient your session will be. If your hair requires significant detangling on the day, it eats into your service time and affects the precision of the finished result.

Keep it minimal. A light leave-in conditioner is fine. Avoid heavy butters, waxes, oils, or styling products before you arrive. Product-free hair gives the cleanest parts and the longest-lasting install.
It depends on the service. For some styles, hair is included in the price and for others, clients bring their own. We confirm exactly what is required when you book. If you are unsure what to purchase before your appointment, send us a message and we will advise on the right brand, type, colour, and quantity for your specific style. Arriving without the required hair when it is not included will affect your appointment.

Our studio is at 2011 Blossite private, Nepean, ON K2J 7J5 and easily accessible from Barrhaven and the greater Ottawa area. Street parking is available nearby. Full arrival instructions are included in your booking confirmation email.
Hours are reflected in real time on the booking calendar. if a slot is available, the studio is open for that time. For inquiries outside of standard hours, send us a message and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
